I haven't recieved my confirmation e-mail, what do I do?
This is a common problem when registering for Singing Place. Often, e-mails are automatically placed in folders entitled 'Spam' or 'Trash'. Check these folders for your verification e-mail. If you are positive that the e-mail is not within any of your trash folders, please resend your verification email. If you still have no luck, contact your e-mail provider.

How do I change my password?
Changing your password is easy, and is always a great idea if you feel the security of your account may be comprimised. To initiate a password change, simply log in and access your profile via this link. Enter your new password into the box entitled 'Change Password' and then once more in the 'Confirm Password' field. Click 'Update' at the bottom of the page to finalize the change.

How do I edit my profile?
Changing the content on your profile is a key part in building your Singing Place experience. To do this, simply log in and visit the page located here. Once the page has loaded, you can update all your displayed profile information and even update your profile picture! When you have finished making updates, click the 'Update' button at the bottom of the page to finalize your modifications.

How do I report abuse on Singing Place?
There are many different types of abuse, none of which are tolerated on Singing Place. To report a video with inappropriate content, simply visit the page where that video is playing and locate the box under the video with flagging options. There is a link there to flag a video as 'Inappropriate'. Any other forms of abuse should be reported directly to the administration and this can be done so by sending an e-mail to abuse@singingplace.com.

How do I embed my videos on another social networking site?
Singing Place gives you both the options and tools to share your video across the web. To the right of every video is a video link and embed code. This embed code can be copied into websites that allow HTML code injection. Use the direct link to advertise your videos on other sites or share them with friends! All videos also have a 'Add Video To Your Network' section which offers linking options for several other social networking websites.

How do I delete a friend?
So you've made a few friends, but things have changed and you now want one of them removed. No problem. All of your friends list settings can be managed via this link. To delete a friend, click the checkbox next to their name and then hit the 'Delete Selected' button at the bottom of the page.

How do I change my "Center Stage" comments?
The 'Center Stage' section is a great place for users to advertise their thoughts, opinions or even show times! Updating this content is done through the 'Edit My Profile' link, accessible here. Speak your mind, just be sure to click 'Update' when you are done.

How do I start a group?
Creating a group is both easy and a great way to connect users with common interests. To create a group, click the 'Groups' button in the main navigation. On the right hand side of the screen, there is an option for 'Browse Groups'. Within this section you will notice a button called 'Create Group'. Simply click this button and you are well on your way. Looking for a direct link? Log in and click here to directly to the group creation page. Once you are done entering all the valid information about your group, click the 'Submit' button at the bottom of the page to finalize the creation. Once your set, invite your friends and begin networking!

What type of video formats can I upload?
Currently, Singing Place supports uploading of videos in the following formats: avi, flv, mpeg, wmv, mov, 3gp, mp4 and mpg. There is a 100 megabyte filesize limit as well.
